Professional Development and Training Programmes

At Le Petit Poucet, we invest in providing continual professional development for all staff and management to maintain quality standards. A committed team of professionals offers «Best Practice» to the children in their care. Our Teachers are all qualified internationally and trained professionals with extensive experience in the field of Education. Assistant teachers are also qualified and experienced. A full time DHA licensed Nurse is present at all time. Staff members hold a First Aid certificate and/or a Fire Training certificate. To ensure inclusion, we also have qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO). We also have contact with various International agencies for Certified Staff Training.

Professional Development and Training Programmes

At Le Petit Poucet, we aim to provide the highest quality services where children’s development and learning is concerned. This is achieved by the following:

  • Close monitoring of each staff member and the on-going work of the nursery to ensure consistency.
  • Regular staff evaluation and assessment to highlight areas of development and improve performance.
  • Self-Evaluation and Peer to Peer evaluation by senior staf
  • Quality assurance of children’s development and learning to ensure individual needs are met.
